The BibleResourceCenter.org is published by the Nida Institute for Biblical Scholarship. The Nida Institute is an international center of scholarship serving the American Bible Society and its constituents by sponsoring and linking the work of Bible Translators, Education and Research Scholars. The Nida Institute also maintains and provides access to a primary collection of Bibles and Bible-related materials through its library and archival services.

The Institute functions in four main areas of expertise. The Education Unit applies the latest educational principles and teaching methods to develop new Bible-learning resources. The Translation Unit carries forward proven expertise in Bible Translation. The Research Unit conducts and interprets interdisciplinary research. The Library and Archives maintains and makes accessible one of the world's primary collections of Scriptures.
