One of our goals at the Nida Institute for Biblical Scholarship is to make full use of all available media technology to translate, research, read, understand, and teach the Bible. We are constantly exploring new ways of using art, video, music, and the Internet to carry out our mission. Concurrent with our use of various media is an ongoing critical reflection on media and its relationship to the message and meaning of the text. Are medium and message the same? Is media essentially neutral socially, theologically, and politically? Visit our multimedia area, spend some time experimenting with the applications housed there, and see what you think.
